Beaver Team Leaders/Assistants

2nd Alveston Scout Group

As A uniformed leader or assistant Leader you would be responsible for planning and running the relevant weekly meetings in accordance with Scouting needs. The main theme of the programme is learning by doing, this involves offering challenge and adventure and most of all fun to the young people in your section. Beavers are 6-8 years old and the sessions may include games ,challenges, practical camping skills, craft, gaining badges and sleepovers and anything else that is fun .

As Scouts, we welcome everyone. Volunteering is good for you (and our community!), but Scouts can make you feel good in other ways too. We’ll try to guide you to an opportunity where you’ll: Make friends and meet people Try new things and challenge yourself Get outdoors and get stuck in Positively impact your community Create vital opportunities for young people Make memories that'll last a lifetime If you can only occasionally help, that’s okay. Whether you’d like to be an activity planner, tea-maker or craft creator, we appreciate any time you can spare.
