Detailed Description

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune condition that often results in disability; sufferers are unable to (eg) maintain their own gardens. The MS Peoples Help Charity exists to provide assistance to sufferers by undertaking regular garden maintenance - eg grass cutting, weeding and general garden care.

Why these skills are required

Volunteers for this role will need the normal gardening skills of someone who has maintained their own garden. You will also need a level of physical fitness that enables you to undertake the normal bending, lifting and grass cutting inherent to the role.
