A tail walker is a friendly face, who stays at the back of the runners at a parkrun at Mundy Playing Fields and should be the last to go through the finish funnel, ensuring everyone is accounted for. The parkrun is 5km every Saturday at 9am. Volunteers needed between 8.15am-10am.
The Tail Walker role is a friendly face or faces, who stay right at the back of the field and should be the last to go through the finish funnel, ensuring that everyone is accounted for. They often chat to the last participant as they walk the course. A Tail Walker is entitled to receive both a volunteer credit and a run credit (providing they brought their barcode along to be scanned) when carrying out this role. The parkrun is 5km and takes place every Saturday at 9am on Mundy Playing fields, Thornbury. Volunteers are needed between 8.15am-10am.
