Four Towns and Vale Link Community Transport
A community transport service seeks volunteers to drive minibuses to help the less able by taking them to GP and hospital appointments, the shops, social trips etc. You must be over 21 and have held a full driving licence for two years.
We aim to provide, safe cost effective, accessible transport to residents and groups in the Four Towns and Vale Link areas to compliment the existing transport system. We offer a Ring-and-Ride service for individuals and Social Car Scheme with volunteers using their own cars. Examples of our service: -Shopping trips -Social visits, special events -Work/education -Hospital/doctor appointments We also run trips to various places of interest. We are looking for volunteer drivers to drive our minibuses to help the less able to get out and about. By volunteering with us you might. -Take someone to a GP or hospital appointment. -Drive a group to the shops. -Take a group out for a social trip. We are looking for over 21 years of age and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years. We can also offer MIDAS Training.
