Join our dedicated team of volunteers running the CCT Charity Book & Music Shops!
Sorting and scanning donations to assess quality and value. Pricing items using guidelines or researching rare books. Managing stock by restocking and tidying shelves. Assisting customers at the till (training provided). Providing friendly customer service and refreshments. Helping with light cleaning and general shop upkeep. Supporting occasional events and forums to share ideas.

Friendly and welcoming attitude towards customers. Ability to work well in a team. Interest in books, music, or charity work (helpful but not essential). Comfortable handling money and using a till (training provided). Previous experience in retail, customer service, or administration is useful but not required. Volunteers with expertise in books, music, or antiques may help with valuations.

Volunteers can choose to work: Half-day shift: 9:50 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:10 PM Full-day shift: 9:50 AM – 4:10 PM Brimscombe Shop – Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (10AM–4PM) Stonehouse Shop – Open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (10AM–4PM)
