CCT - Construction and Maintenance Volunteers - Western Depot
The Cotswold Canals Trust
Renovate and maintain locks, waterways, and towpaths, supporting canal restoration and upkeep.
Join our renovation and maintenance teams to help restore the Cotswold Canals. Volunteers work across Phase 1 (Saul to Brimscombe) on tasks including rebuilding locks, maintaining spill weirs, sluices, bridges, barriers, and towpaths. Support mechanical, civil, and electrical projects, repair equipment, vehicles, and boats, and install benches or canal-side features. Gain practical skills in construction, woodworking, and welding while making a visible impact. All experience levels welcome - help keep the canal safe, functional, and welcoming for the community.
