Provide expert technical, engineering, and planning support across all phases of canal restoration.
Support the Cotswold Canals Trust by providing professional and technical expertise across multiple phases of restoration. Volunteers and trustees contribute skills in engineering, planning, surveying, environmental management, and long-term project development. Work includes supporting operations, asset management, and water-management planning in the Western Section; leading reservoir-related planning and coordination in the Eastern Section; and offering wider expertise in PR, communications, GIS, CAD, and land matters. Volunteers may also assist major future projects such as the Sap. Tunnel

Expertise in relevant technical areas such as engineering, hydrology, GIS, and environmental management. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across various disciplines. Ability to provide guidance and support in a variety of project management and planning tasks. Previous experience in similar canal or infrastructure projects is desirable. Experience with planning applications, environmental assessments, engineering, and technical support is essential. Familiarity with the water management and civil engineering sectors.
