The time commitment is 1 x 2hr meeting each school term, currently on Thursday afternoons and two monitoring visits into school over the year. We are happy to have informal chat's to explain more about the role and please look at our website to learn more about our school.

Volunteers need capacity to be a part of a core team as well as commitment to the role and associated training
We are honoured as volunteers to help some of the most vulnerable children in our society and our school advocates for children and their families as well as providing outstanding education. In the role of a school governor you will learn about how schools operate, cover staff and pupil wellbeing, policies and assessment. It's an interesting and valuable role. We also have a bit of a social life and meet up with all the Governors in our small specialist Trust.
We meet once a term on Thursday afternoons and Governors will visit the school at least twice a year to carry out monitoring
