A small grant-giving charity is seeking a volunteer to join their Welfare Committee. Initially to cover periods of holiday or absence, but progressing to be part of their succession plan. Candidates ideally have a willingness to be flexible and some IT knowledge and banking systems. Will attend 2 Trustees meeting pa and work with existing team of four to understand their slightly differing needs.
We are currently seeking a volunteer to join our Welfare Committee of four, each responsible for a different region of the county. Initially this person will help to cover periods of holiday or absence, but it is hoped that we can identify someone who may be prepared to be part of our succession plan. Candidates will ideally have some or all of the following: A commitment to the work and aims of The Society A willingness to be flexible both geographically and with time commitment Some IT knowledge and a willingness to become familiar with systems and banking A commitment to total client confidentiality The suitable candidate will be required to attend two Trustees meetings per year and to work with the existing committee of four, spending time with each to understand their slightly differing roles.
