LGBTQ+ Youth Work Volunteer

To support the youth team to deliver LGBTQ+ youth support groups and trips on a monthly basis.
Role Purpose: Enhancing the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth 13-19 yrs) in a peer group setting through encouraging engagement in activities, promoting discussions to help create connections. This role is in person and cannot be carried out virtually.

The session runs once a month, the last Sunday of each month, and the time commitment is 6.30pm – 9.30pm including set up and pack down time. We ask volunteers to intend to commit to youth work roles for a year, to allow for consistency for young people. There may be additional time in relation to training, planning or trips which we will discuss and agree with you in advance.
