To provide one to one support to residents who need help getting online or improving their digital skills. You do not need to be an expert, just comfortable using everyday digital devices and online tools.
As a volunteer Digital Champion, you will provide one-to-one support to residents who need help getting online or improving their digital skills. This can include how to: get started with computers, tablets or smartphones connect to the internet safely and securely create email accounts or search the web connect with family and friends through video calls, messaging, and social media download apps (for example the NHS app) complete tasks like online shopping or banking You will have access to resources to help and support you.

We are looking for people who are: confident, patient IT users who can explain things simply friendly and reliable who enjoy helping others at all levels of ability available for an hour or 2 each week You do not need to be an expert, just comfortable using everyday digital devices and online tools.
