The school’s governing board is responsible for providing confident and strategic leadership, create robust accountability and oversight on finances. Do you have: A strong commitment to school governance and to improving outcomes for children. Good interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills. Some skills required to make sure the governing board delivers effective governance. Time during evenings and school day to carry out reviews, monitoring and training. Ability to help shape the school's Christian values. Ability to create and monitor action plans.

All skills are welcome, but you will need analytical skills, strategic planning and oversight skills, the ability to evaluate and monitor the impact of action plans.
To be involved in the education of local children, and to learn new skills as a governor.
You will be required to attend approx. 12 meetings per year, six with the governing board and six at one other sub- committee. You will also need to be available to monitor school activities approx. three times a year during school hours.
