Volunteers need to have energy and enthusiasm. Working in conjunction with other leaders, they will be asked to come up with plans for weekly sessions to deliver to their Troops. We have previous sessions to go by but it is always fun to come up with something new. Leaders are required to do risk assessments as needed and keep in touch with other leaders as well as parents to keep them informed as to what is happening in the Troop.
Helping develop and grow young children with skills and a love of nature and Scouting that will last them a lifetime. They are so excited and so involved, the fun is infectious.
The sessions are 60 to 90 minutes per week (term time) dependent upon Troop plus planning and admin time for sessions. Have a chat with us regarding actual time commitments and the potential to share Troops amongst several leaders.
