Compost site volunteer

Opportunity to get outdoor exercise whilst helping with a well-established environmental project.
Work with a friendly local community composting volunteer group which meets on Wednesday afternoon 1.45 to 3.30pm and Saturday mornings 9 to 11 am. This involves pushing the green waste back into the designated area, splitting logs and stacking them to season, then bagging ready to sell on site. Opening and/or closing the site when needed. Interacting with people coming onto the site. Refreshments provided. No special skills required. However, anyone with recognised and certification to use a chainsaw would be appreciated.
