To support the delivery of engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences.
Assist in the delivery of workshops, tours, and informal learning activities. Welcome and orient school groups, families, and other visitors. Support hands-on activities, ensuring materials are prepared and used safely. Encourage visitor participation through conversation, questioning, and storytelling. Adapt communication style to suit different ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and accessible learning environment. Assist with setup and pack-down of learning spaces and resources. Provide feedback to staff on visitor engagement & activities.

Person Specification Essential: Interest in education, museums, or public engagement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with the public. Reliability and punctuality. Willingness to learn and follow guidance from staff. Desirable: Experience working with children, young people, or community groups. Interest in the museum’s subject area (e.g., aviation, history, science, art). Experience in informal education or volunteering.
