Minibus Drivers
Woodchester Mansion Trust
Minibus drivers are needed at this historic property at weekends between April-October to ferry visitors from house to car park, assist visitors with buggies, children and dogs and explain the tour options. As the house is on private land there are no special driving licence requirements.
There are vacancies for minibus drivers, age 25-75 please, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday April - October. Full training is given to all volunteers, and you will work with another volunteer until you are confident in the role. The minibus driver is the first volunteer visitors meet when they arrive at Woodchester. As well as driving the bus up and down the wooded track from mansion to car park (10mph max) the bus driver assists visitors with buggies, children and dogs, reverses skilfully and explains the tour options. On the way back you discover who the best tour guides are and help fill the donations box. As Woodchester Mansion is on private land there are no special requirements for your driving licence but you must be aged over 25 years.
