At WWT we shape unforgettable experiences. We are a warm, welcoming and genuine charity that protects and restores Wetlands. The Volunteer Safety Management Trainer is part of the small, enthusiastic team advising on health and safety management throughout WWT ensuring that all requirements are met. A big part of our compliance is provision of training and this role is to support safety training provision. Volunteers are an essential part of the WWT team. You'll get a warm welcome, including information on training, equipment and anything else you need.

Why these skills are required

About You: This role is for somebody who has good communication and people skills and possibly some experience of public speaking but if not, the desire to gain some skills and/or confidence in this area. It would also be helpful if you have some experience or awareness of health and safety. To make our training as accessible as possible, much of our training is delivered online, so it would be beneficial if you are confident in using online meetings. This role can be completed from home or at our Slimbridge headquarters. If you are willing to travel to our other UK centres, you would also have the opportunity to deliver in person sessions at our wetland centres around the country! Timings are flexible and you can arrange training sessions to suit you.

Time Commitment

We are flexible! You would schedule the training sessions to suit you. So possibly once or twice a month plus some prep time.
