Multiple Sclerosis People's Help (MSPH)

We need 2 or 3 volunteers who will sort, check and prepare donated clothing for display and sale.

Detailed Description

We need 2 or 3 volunteers who will sort, check and prepare donated clothing and other items for display and sale in our well-regarded shop. Ironing the clothing will, therefore be a significant part of the role. However, in addition, our volunteers may also need to spend time at the tills dealing with customers. You will have a good eye for detail, be willing to work on your own for some of the time but also be out-going and able to talk to customers to encourage them to make purchases. You will need to be confident handling cash.

You will need the ability to spot blemishes in donated clothing and will thus have a good eye for detail. You will need to be willing to work on your own for some of the time but also be out-going and able to talk to customers to encourage them to make purchases. You will need to be confident handling cash.

Time Commitment

Half day shifts (9am -1pm and 1pm-5pm) are available Monday – Saturday. It is helpful if volunteers can be flexible to cover absences.
