Support families locally – volunteer with Home-Start Bristol & South Glos. Training provided!

Detailed Description

Support local families with young children by offering emotional and practical help. As a Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire volunteer, you’ll visit a family weekly, providing a listening ear and encouragement during challenging times. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support. If you’re a parent or have experience with children, are compassionate and want to make a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you!

Time Commitment

Once training is completed and volunteers are matched to a family, the volunteer will ideally visit once a week at an agreed time for around 6 months. Volunteers are of course entitled to take holidays and take periods of rest where necessary. We ask that you commit to Home-Start for at least a year.
